Job summary

Central Bedfordshire College is seeking an EHCP Keyworker to join the Foundation Learning & Additional Learning Support team. You will oversee high-quality support for learners with EHCPs, ensuring statutory requirements are met, with strong collaboration across Local Authorities, families and professionals.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or higher qualification with knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes.
• Proven EHCP experience including annual reviews and working with parents and professionals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to produce professional reports and liaise with stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing priorities.
• Committed to safeguarding, professional boundaries, development and flexible working; able to travel across sites.

Responsibilities

• EHCP Delivery & Compliance - oversee high-quality support for learners with EHCPs and ensure Section F provision is delivered and funded.
• Annual Reviews & Statutory Processes - coordinate person-centred EHCP reviews with authorities, families and partners.
• Progress Monitoring & Intervention - track learner progress and align EHCP outcomes with curriculum targets.
• Preparing for Adulthood & Mentoring - deliver PfA programmes and mentoring to develop independence and employability.
• Quality Assurance & Partnership Working - conduct observations, support staff development and ensure safeguarding and standards compliance.
