Job summary

DN Colleges Group is seeking an EHCP Coordinator within the Additional Learning Support team in Scunthorpe. You will support consultation and reviews of EHCPs, ensuring statutory requirements are met and learners receive appropriate support.

You will work with students, families, college staff and external agencies to coordinate annual reviews, maintain stakeholder communication and champion a person-centred EHCP process. This role offers opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with students, families, staff and external professionals.
• Ability to handle a demanding workload and use initiative.
• Knowledge of SEND legislation and EHCP processes.
• Experience with learners with a range of needs and disabilities is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support identification and tracking of learners with EHCPs across the College.
• Liaise with students, parents/carers, external agencies and staff during consultation and review.
• Coordinate and prepare annual EHCP reviews with stakeholders.
• Chair EHCP annual review meetings as directed by line manager.
• Attend Year 10 and Year 11 annual reviews as required.
• Ensure compliance with statutory EHCP requirements and SEND Code of Practice.
• Promote a person-centred approach to EHCP reviews and learner support.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting and QA activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to support learner outcomes.
• Participate in training, professional development and appraisal.
