South Gloucestershire and Stroud College is seeking a Learning Support Key Worker to join our Additional Learning Support Team. You will provide flexible support to learners with EHCPs, promoting inclusion and safeguarding.

The role involves building trust, coordinating EHCP reviews, and collaborating with curriculum staff to remove barriers to learning. We offer generous pension, holidays, and flexible working; DBS checks apply.

Qualificações

• Experience supporting learners with EHCPs and SEMH needs.
• Ability to chair annual EHCP reviews.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and relationships with stakeholders.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

Responsabilidades

• Provide flexible in-class and out-of-class support to learners with EHCPs.
• Deliver behaviour support using de-escalation and trauma-informed methods.
• Build strong relationships to boost engagement and readiness to learn.
• Monitor attendance and implement timely interventions.
• Chair EHCP annual reviews and track progress.
• Develop and review individual support plans aligned to EHCP outcomes.
• Collaborate with curriculum staff and safeguarding teams on adjustments.
• Respond to incidents to maintain learner safety and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate records of interventions in college systems.
• Support safeguarding by reporting concerns per policy.
