Job summary

Harrogate Grammar School is seeking an EHCP Coordinator to support children and young people with SEND. The role focuses on managing EHCP applications, consultations and annual reviews, coordinating with pupils, families, school colleagues, the Local Authority and external professionals to ensure needs are met on time.

Part-time position, term-time only plus two training days, with hybrid working between school and remote arrangements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of SEND legislation, Code of Practice and Local Authority processes.
• Experience of managing EHCPs within statutory timescales.
• Ability to work with children, parents, carers, school staff and external professionals.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Capacity to handle sensitive situations with empathy and resilience.
• Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for pupils with SEND.

Responsibilities
