Job summary

Reeson Education is seeking an experienced EHCP Coordinator to support post-16 students across two sites in Southampton and Gosport. You will manage caseloads, chair annual reviews, and ensure timely documentation in line with statutory deadlines.

The role is 30 hours per week, term-time only, with a pay rate of £17.00–£19.00 per hour, dependent on experience. A DBS check and strong SEND knowledge are essential to enable smooth coordination with families, schools, and authorities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people or adults with SEND and complex needs.
• Strong knowledge of EHCP and annual review process.
• Experience coordinating or chairing multi-agency meetings.
• Excellent written communication and administrative skills.
• Confidence working with families, education staff and external agencies.
• Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
• Ability to travel between Southampton and Gosport.
• Enhanced DBS issued within the last three months or Update Service.
• Two satisfactory professional references.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and chairing EHCP annual review meetings.
• Managing annual review documentation and statutory deadlines.
• Gathering feedback from students, parents, staff and external professionals.
• Monitoring whether agreed SEND provision is being delivered.
• Supporting students transitioning into and through college.
• Liaising with local authorities regarding consultations and High Needs funding.
• Maintaining accurate student records and management information.
• Providing guidance to staff regarding individual student needs.
