Harrogate Grammar School is seeking an EHCP Coordinator to support children and young people with SEND. The role focuses on managing EHCP applications, consultations and annual reviews, coordinating with pupils, families, school colleagues, the Local Authority and external professionals to ensure needs are met on time.
Part-time position, term-time only plus two training days, with hybrid working between school and remote arrangements.
Part-time 24 hours perweek worked over 3 days. Term time only plus 2 weeks and trainingdays. Hybrid remote/school based.
Are you an experiencedSEND professional with a strong understanding of Education, Health and CarePlans (EHCPs), statutory processes and multi-agency working? Do you have theknowledge, organisation and interpersonal skills to coordinate complex EHCP caseworkand ensure that children and young people receive the right support to achievepositive outcomes? We are looking to appoint an EHCP Coordinator to play a key role in ensuring that children and young people with SEND receive the right support to meet their individual needs. Working closely with pupils, parents and carers, school colleagues, the Local Authority and a range of external professionals, you will manage the EHCP process from applications and consultations through to annual reviews, ensuring that pupil needs, outcomes and provision are accurately identified and that all statutory requirements and timescales are met.
