Job summary

Swale Academies Trust is seeking a dedicated Trust EHCP Coordinator (HLTA Level) to join our team. In this targeted capacity role, you will work under the direction of the Trust SEND Lead to provide crucial administrative and operational support across primary and secondary Trust schools.

You will focus on auditing existing SEND backlogs, collating multi-agency evidence, drafting EHCP applications, and submitting robust Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) requests to secure vital resources

Qualifications

• Proven experience navigating the EHCP application process and compiling statutory assessment paperwork.
• Experience liaising with SENCOs, health professionals and external agencies.
• Good knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and local authority processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the collation of evidence, drafting and submission of EHCNA requests across schools.
• Audit caseloads and redeploy to tackle backlogs across sites.
• Act as central point of contact between school staff, health professionals and agencies.
• Maintain knowledge of SEND Code of Practice to ensure legal alignment.
