Job summary

Royal Mencap Society in Birmingham is seeking an EHCP Coordinator to join our Supported Internship team on a full-time basis. You will coordinate EHCP reviews, work with local authorities, parents, and learners, and ensure timely decisions and learner recruitment for the programme.

The role requires strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple deadlines, with emphasis on collaboration and delivering against targets. Benefits include a comprehensive package and pension options.

We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated Education,Healthand Care Plan (EHCP) Coordinator on afull-timebasis to work with ourBirminghamSupported Internship team.

About the role of EHCP Coordinator:
  • You will work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders such as local authorities, parents/carers and learners.
  • Coordinate the EHCP review process in a timely manner in order to ensure reviews are conducted in line with SEND Code of Practice.
  • Ensure that suitable learners and the required number of learners are recruited onto the programme and informed decisions are made based on observations, written documents, family contribution and the learner voice.
  • Collaborative working with other delivery colleagues, this role will attend case conferencing meetings to ensure that EHCP outcomes are being achieved and embedded into the programme for each learner.
  • This role requires good organisation, attention to detail and ability to keep to timescales and targets.
