Job summary

Royal Mencap Society in Birmingham is seeking an EHCP Coordinator to join our Supported Internship team on a full-time basis. You will coordinate EHCP reviews, work with local authorities, parents, and learners, and ensure timely decisions and learner recruitment for the programme.

The role requires strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple deadlines, with emphasis on collaboration and delivering against targets. Benefits include a comprehensive package and pension options.

Qualifications

• Professional conduct and ability to work collaboratively.
• Experience delivering against targets.
• Experience involved in an EHCP review process.
• Experience working with young SEND learners.
• Good time management and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with local authorities, parents/carers and learners.
• Coordinate EHCP review process in line with SEND Code of Practice.
• Recruit suitable learners and inform decisions based on observations and learner voice.
• Attend case conferencing to ensure EHCP outcomes are embedded in the programme.
• Maintain organisation and meet timescales and targets.
