Telent's Network Services division is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our successful Engineering team based in Southampton. This role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team of Cloud, Network, and Security specialists, supporting your growth and development through challenging projects.

The Cloud Engineer will develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, providing proactive service and bridging the engineering team with Service Delivery, Projects, and Service Desk to ensure high customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do:

• Train internal engineering staff and customers on products and solutions.
• Assist with Professional Services and Sales opportunities within Network Services.
• Maintain awareness of all customer incidents and report on nominated accounts.
• Highlight trends, security threats, or technical bulletins impacting customers.
• Manage documentation and technical information related to customer platforms and Telent Cloud Services (TCS).
• Follow internal and external processes regarding task allocation, completion, reporting, and change management.
• Assist with Proof of Concept (PoC) scenarios, Type Approval activities, and lab testing.
• Create TA, POC, RFC, WI, and SoW documentation.
• Review engineering technical documentation peer-wise.
• Lead or assist in pre-staging equipment for customer sites.
• Attend customer meetings such as support reviews, project roadmaps, and incident reviews.
• Ensure accurate timesheet submission and timely expenses reporting.
• Link certifications and training to business objectives and role.
• Adhere to GDPR and security policies, report incidents accordingly.

Who you are:

The ideal candidate will have an interest in Cloud technologies, including some Azure knowledge, Linux, MS SCCM, and MS Exchange. We will support your skill development in these areas. You should have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and experience working in a medium to large support environment (IT Managed Service). On-premise Cloud Services experience is also required.

• VCP 6.x-DCV (Desirable)
• MCSA: Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or above
