Telent's Network Services division is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our successful Engineering team based in Southampton. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a talented team of Cloud, Network, and Security specialists, supporting your growth and development in challenging projects.

The Cloud Engineer will develop and strengthen relationships with both internal and external customers, providing proactive service and acting as a bridge between the engineering team and Service Delivery, Projects, and Service Desk to ensure high customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do:

• Train internal staff and customers on products and solutions.
• Assist with Professional Services and Sales opportunities within Network Services.
• Monitor customer incidents and report on nominated accounts.
• Identify trends, security threats, or technical bulletins affecting customers.
• Manage documentation and technical information related to customer platforms and Telent Cloud Services.
• Follow internal and external processes for tasks, reporting, and changes, updating all relevant parties.
• Assist with PoC scenarios, Type Approval activities, and lab testing.
• Create TA, POC, RFC, WI, and SoW documentation.
• Peer review engineering documentation.
• Assist in pre-staging equipment for customer sites.
• Attend customer meetings as needed.
• Ensure accurate timesheets and timely expense submissions.
• Maintain relevant certifications and training aligned with business goals.
• Handle overtime and expenses appropriately.
• Adhere to GDPR and information security policies.

Who you are:

The ideal candidate will have an interest in Cloud technologies, including some Azure knowledge, Linux exposure, MS SCCM, and MS Exchange. We will support your development in these areas. You should have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and experience in a medium to large support environment, with on-premise Cloud Services experience.

• VCP 6.x-DCV (Desirable)
