Job summary

IRIS Software Group is seeking a Solutions Consultant to bridge customer needs with the delivery team, turning requirements into a concrete SOW and clear plans. You will engage with Sales, Pre-Sales and delivery teams to shape feasible scopes and manage expectations throughout the sale-to-implementation journey.

You'll work across IRIS Education products in a standalone role, with leadership support and a clear path for progression from Consultant to Principal levels.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering and challenging business requirements, translating them into clear scope and deliverables.
• Experience writing Statements of Work, proposals, scoping documents or comparable contractual documentation.
• Clear, precise writing with attention to assumptions, dependencies and exclusions.

Responsibilities

• Gather and clarify customer requirements during discovery with Sales and Pre-Sales.
• Draft clear Statements of Work covering deliverables, milestones, responsibilities and exclusions.
• Identify risks, dependencies and costs to shape feasible delivery plans.
• Ensure smooth handover to delivery teams with minimal rework and scope changes.
