Job summary

SENse Learning in the United Kingdom is seeking Learning Support Assistants to deliver one-to-one mentoring and tailored learning support for young people with complex needs across settings, including homes and community venues.

You will work with families and schools to create engaging, trauma-informed activities, track progress, and adapt approaches; roles are flexible, from part-time to full-time, with self-employed status and rolling intake.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with complex needs (e.g. ASC, ADHD, SEMH).
• Ability to design engaging, student-centred activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people.
• Provide one-to-one support in homes and community settings with creative activities.
• Support development of life skills, confidence and independence.
• Use trauma-informed approaches and flexible strategies.
