Job summary

SENse Learning in the United Kingdom is seeking Education Mentors to support SEND learners through one-to-one mentoring in homes and community settings, delivering holistic, student-centred learning.

Roles are flexible, available part-time to full-time, with rolling interviews and self-employed contracts. DBS checks and references are required to join our mission of ensuring no student is left behind.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with complex additional needs.
• Ability to build strong, positive relationships with learners.
• Understanding of holistic, child-centred education approaches.
• Awareness of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• DBS clearance and professional references.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong, positive relationships with children and young people.
• Provide one-to-one support in homes and community settings.
• Support life skills, confidence, and independence development.
• Use trauma-informed approaches and flexible strategies.
• Model and encourage emotional regulation in learners.
• Provide feedback to track progress and adapt support.
