Job summary

SENse Learning seeks Education Mentors to provide one-to-one mentoring in students' homes and community settings across the UK. You will support learning, confidence and life skills with flexible scheduling and a student-centred approach.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years working with children or young people with complex needs and a background in education support roles. DBS and references are preferred; self-employed contractor role offered.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working with children or young people with complex needs (ASC, ADHD, SEMH, trauma, etc.).
• Background suited to roles like Support Worker, Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one mentoring in homes and community settings.
• Support life skills, confidence, and independence through bespoke activities.
• Use trauma-informed approaches to support varied needs and track progress.
