Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Education Assistants to provide one-to-one mentoring and home-based learning support for SEND learners across the UK. Roles include Education Mentor, SEN Teaching Assistant, and Learning Support Mentor, with multiple positions and ongoing hiring.

Flexible, in-person, hybrid and community-based opportunities available; you’ll work to empower young people through our EHCP-aligned curriculum and trauma-informed approaches, while safeguarding and safeguarding checks are

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience with children or young people with complex needs.
• UK-based with right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate) and 2+ professional references.
• Self-employed status and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong, positive relationships with children and young people.
• Provide one-to-one support in homes and community settings.
• Deliver creative and interest-based activities.
• Support development of life skills, confidence and independence.
• Use trauma-informed approaches to support diverse needs.
• Provide feedback and reflections to track progress.
