This is a brand‑new role, offering a unique opportunity to design, lead, and grow educational pathways for nurses and allied health professionals across the Division.

As an experienced educator and NMC or HCPC registered professional, you will bring vision, energy, and leadership to ensure our teams have the skills and confidence to deliver outstanding patient care. You'll work collaboratively with clinical leaders and education partners to create innovative learning opportunities, foster professional development, and champion a culture of continuous improvement.

If you're ready to lead change, inspire others, and build the future of healthcare education, we'd love to hear from you.

Main Duties

The post holder will:

  • Have lead responsibility for ensuring that the Divisional Education Team provides a high level of support to students and apprentices, facilitating a positive placement experience.
  • Strategically lead the Divisional Education Team to deliver high‑quality education evaluated against trust‑wide education quality assurance mechanisms for NMAHPs and CSWs and key performance indicators.
  • Provide strategic oversight for education and development of the NMAHP and CSW workforce aligned with the NHS 10 Year Plan in collaboration with the divisional nursing leadership team, wider CUH education community and Integrated Care System partners.
  • Collaborate with trust‑wide Education Leads and specialty teams across the organisation to lead, plan and organise complex education activities and programmes of study.
  • Be responsible for reviewing, processing and presenting divisional applications for funded learning and ongoing professional development at relevant committees.
