Job summary

Reach South Academy Trust is seeking an IT Services Technician to provide on-site IT support across a cluster of schools in the Bournemouth area, with travel to other schools within the Trust. The role involves responding to helpdesk requests, maintaining hardware/software, and supporting knowledge base development.

The successful candidate will have IT support experience in education or non-profit sectors, familiarity with Microsoft 365, strong communication skills, and a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support within Education, corporate or non-profit sector, focused on customer service and problem resolution.
• Experience working with Microsoft 365.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible and willing to learn.
• UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete tasks allocated via the IT helpdesk.
• Ensure the maintenance and management of IT hardware, software and processes.
• Respond to IT helpdesk tickets in line with trust best practice guidance.
• Ensure IT asset management is up to date with in-life changes.
• Support development of knowledge base articles and runbooks for new procedures.
• Provide help and guidance to staff on day-to-day use of IT hardware and software.
