Planet Recruitment is recruiting an IT Manager for an education sector role located in Oxford & Abingdon. You will oversee the curriculum and admin ICT network, including hardware and software infrastructure, while aligning with senior leadership on IT projects to support teaching and learning.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in school IT management, strong communication, and a proactive approach to improving services. Salary is 35,000–42,000 with benefits and a full-year, full-time contract.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of IT Manager/Network Manager experience in a school environment.
• Strong understanding of school IT requirements and security.
• Proactive, customer‑facing with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management, installation, maintenance and security of the ICT network.
• Collaborate with Senior Management to plan IT infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical guidance and training to staff for effective system use.
• Manage daily IT operations and SLA adherence with the Trusts.
