Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee operations across education catering and service for Chartwells on a part-time basis. The role covers kitchens and counters, driving exceptional food experiences and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of catering experience, a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, and strong leadership and communication skills. Pre-employment checks including enhanced DBS apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Preparing food to the highest standards.
• Supervising catering teams to deliver excellent service.
• Communicating with line manager to monitor KPIs.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining brand image.
• Liaising between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Training and supporting teams to excel.
• Ensuring Health & Safety standards are followed.
