Job summary

Brackenberry Limited in the UK is recruiting a Fair Access & Missing Education Caseworker for a 3-month contract in Walsall. The role involves tracing children not on a school roll and supporting their reintegration into education.

You will manage casework, prepare documentation, and liaise with schools, local authorities and other professionals to ensure GDPR-compliant information sharing. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• GCSE English Grade C or above or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organisational skills and workload management.
• Ability to meet deadlines while managing conflicting priorities.
• Excellent IT skills and confidence in maintaining databases and records.

Responsibilities

• Support the operation of the CME Panel, Fair Access Protocol and Fair Access Panels.
• Maintain databases relating to CME panels, the Fair Access Protocol, pupil tracking and exclusions using Capita One Admissions software.
• Collate information relating to CME panels, the Fair Access Protocol, pupil tracking and exclusions.
• Prepare casework, create and distribute meeting agendas, and present cases at meetings where required.
• Undertake casework relating to Children Missing Education, the Fair Access Protocol, exclusions and pupil tracking.
• Arrange home visits to trace children who are not on a school roll and support their reintegration into an appropriate school placement.
