Job summary

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Walsall Council for a Fair Access & Missing Education Caseworker on a temporary 12-month contract. The role is hybrid, with days onsite at Civic Centre, Walsall Town Centre, and a starting date of 2 November 2026.

The position requires strong administration experience, DBS check, and capability to work in a busy office environment. You will support the Fair Access Protocol and related panels, liaising with schools and services to ensure pupils

Qualifications

• Strong administration experience is essential.
• Experience in an education setting is preferred.
• Enhanced DBS is required.
• Proficiency with MS365 packages (Teams, Outlook, Excel).
• Experience in a busy office environment is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
