Job summary

MDPI is seeking a recent PhD or Master's graduate for an entry-level Assistant Editor role in our Manchester city centre office.

You will support the editorial process, coordinate peer review, manage email communications, and collaborate with editorial and production teams. Full training will be provided, with working in a dynamic, international environment and opportunities to engage with scholarly communities.

Qualifications

• PhD preferred or Master’s in Healthcare-related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
• Team player in a dynamic, international environment.
• Detail oriented with the ability to see the big picture.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Very good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the editorial process for academic journals in your domain of expertise.
• Organize peer review and coordinate editorial decisions.
• Handle email communications between parties involved in the publication process.
• Collaborate with editorial and production teams.
• Ensure scholarly articles are edited and published with tight deadlines and consistency.
