Job description

Overview: Gopuff is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join the Operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, the Operations Supervisor plays an essential role at Gopuff, requiring drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm. This role is a core part of the store leadership team, responsible for ensuring order accuracy and efficient delivery to customers.

Customers turn to Gopuff for their everyday essentials—day and night, rain or shine. We are assembling a team of thinkers, dreamers, and risk-takers ready to reshape retail faster than ever. And it doesn't hurt if you like snacks.

Responsibilities:

• Leading: Demonstrate leadership by example, managing the shift, training new team members, and being confident in processes and products.
• Picking and packing: Accurately select and pack items for dispatch.
• Drivers and riders: Serve as the point of contact for drivers, ensuring a smooth delivery experience.
• Issue resolution: Contact customers regarding substitutions or out-of-stock items.
• Goods in/out: Receive products from vendors, verify counts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Stock management: Store products appropriately, conduct cycle counts, and manage waste and compliance, including our partnership with TooGoodToGo.
• Warehouse management: Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.

About You:

• Experience in a restaurant, dark store, retail, or warehouse environment.
• Basic knowledge of web-based software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google G-Suite).
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, responsibility, and honesty.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Effective communication skills.
• Organized, team-oriented, positive, and helpful attitude.
• Flexible and available during peak hours (5pm - 4:30am).
