Job summary

Weldricks in Doncaster is seeking a dedicated Webshop Assistant to support efficient customer order processing from receipt to dispatch. You will assemble, pack and dispatch orders, check stock, and maintain product integrity to ensure customer satisfaction and reliable delivery.

The role emphasises accuracy, attention to detail and a proactive approach to fulfilment operations within our growing online and distribution network.

Responsibilities

• Order Processing: Manage orders from receipt of stock to dispatch, including verifying order details and coordinating delivery to meet customer expectations.
• Receiving & Unpacking Orders: Receive stock deliveries, unpack goods, and check delivery notes against stock.
• Assembling Customer Orders: Pick items with high accuracy, ensure correct items, quantities and variations are selected.
• Packing Orders: Use appropriate packing materials to protect items in transit and minimise waste.
• Dispatching Products: Prepare orders for shipment, attach labels, organise courier collections and update system.
• Quality Control & Stock Management: Perform quality checks before packing to ensure in-date, correct products and integrity.
• Performance Measures: Maintain high order accuracy and low damage-in-transit rates.
• Flexibility: Adapt to support the business as needed.
• Additional Duties: Reflect changing business needs and company policies.
