Job summary

Eastgate Resource is seeking a reliable and organised warehouse assistant to help pick and pack orders, prepare stock for sale and manage stock checks. You’ll learn Sage and shipping systems as you support daily warehouse operations in a small, friendly team.

Pay starts at £15.00 per hour with 20.0–24.0 hours per week. Training will be provided and benefits include casual dress and on-site parking. This is a hands-on, in-person role based in the UK.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail and an organised approach to work.
• Reliability and the ability to follow tasks through to completion.
• Care when handling small products and checking product codes and quantities.
• Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn our systems.
• Clear communication and the confidence to flag problems.
• Comfort with practical warehouse work, including standing, packing and moving stock.
• A willingness to help with the everyday tasks that keep a small business running.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders.
• Preparing products for sale, including adding chains, packaging, labels and inserts.
• Receiving deliveries, counting stock and checking against packing lists.
• Checking product quality and reporting damage, shortages or discrepancies.
• Replenishing picking bins and keeping stock clearly labelled and organised.
• Carrying out stock checks and flagging low stock levels.
• Keeping the warehouse and packing areas clean and tidy.
• Monitoring and ordering packaging materials and office supplies.
• Weighing and measuring parcels, preparing shipping labels and arranging courier collections.
• Receiving and checking returned products.
• Keeping delivery and dispatch paperwork organised.
