Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking experienced ecologists to join our ecology team across the UK, with roles at all levels. You will work on nationally significant projects, deliver ecological surveys and reporting, and help balance development with nature.

Qualifications

• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology or related field.
• CIEEM membership; Chartered Ecologist status desirable for senior positions.
• Experience delivering ecological surveys, assessments and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation, planning policy and environmental regulations.
• Experience preparing EcIA, PEA, Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) reports and protected species reports.
• Ability to manage projects and build client relationships; provide technical guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of ecological surveys, assessments and reporting.
• Support clients from early planning through to project delivery.
• Manage projects and provide technical guidance within multidisciplinary teams.
