Job summary

Stantec is seeking experienced ecologists to join our Ecology team across the UK. You will work on nationally significant projects, deliver ecological surveys, assessments and reporting, and provide technical guidance within a multidisciplinary environment.

We value strong client relationships, effective communication, and a collaborative approach to shaping sustainable development while protecting biodiversity. Hybrid working and ongoing professional development are emphasised.

Qualifications

• A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology or a related discipline.
• CIEEM membership; Chartered Ecologist status desirable for senior positions.
• Experience delivering ecological surveys, assessments and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation, planning policy and environmental regulations.
• Experience preparing EcIA, PEA, Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and protected species reports.
• The ability to manage projects, build strong client relationships and provide technical guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
