Job summary

Viridor is hiring an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer for our new ERF project. You will oversee all electrical, control and instrumentation activities and coordinate maintenance across the Tilbury site, ensuring safe and efficient operations as the plant moves into full operation.

You will support a high performing engineering team, gain hands-on experience during construction and commissioning, and contribute to the site achieving HSE, environmental and financial targets.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification such as HNC or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical, control and instrumentation engineering on-site.
• Experience supervising teams and contractors to deliver KPIs.
• Familiarity with CMMS and Permit to Work/Safe Systems of Work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure electrical, control and instrumentation engineering and maintenance on site.
• Plan and execute maintenance safely and efficiently.
• Support stores and workshops management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
