Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an EC&I Engineer with 10+ years of experience in the building services industry, particularly in the Nuclear sector. This hybrid position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and proficiency in design tools like AutoCAD. The successful candidate will hold BPSS or SC clearance and should ideally possess existing SC or DV clearance. This is a contract role paying between £48-52 per hour, outside of IR35.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years' experience as an EC&I Engineer.
• 5+ years working in the Nuclear industry.
• Must hold BPSS or SC clearance, ideally SC or DV clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design within building services in the Nuclear industry.
• Review supplier documentation for Safety and Security Systems.

Essential Requirements:

• 10-15+ years' experience working as a EC&I Engineer
• 5+ years working within the Nuclear industry
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, AMTECH, Dialux, Relux
• Experience in the review of supplier documentation for Safety, Security, and Building Management Systems (e.g. alarms, CCTV, access control, ventilation monitoring).
• This is a role within the Nuclear industry so you will be required to hold BPSS or SC clearance to start this position. The ideal candidate will need to hold a UK passport.
• The ideal candidate will already hold SC or DV clearance.
