Job summary

Gallagher is recruiting a Development Executive to join the East Anglia team. You will identify, secure, and develop new business opportunities, building long-term partnerships with clients and referral partners while growing your regional network.

You will nurture trusted connections, travel across East Anglia, and represent Gallagher with professionalism to deliver tailored insurance solutions and drive sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Experience within the insurance industry and a good understanding of commercial insurance.
• Track record in building relationships and winning new business.
• Willingness to travel within East Anglia and work across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.

Responsibilities

• Identify, secure, and convert new business opportunities across the East Anglia region.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key banking and referral partners, becoming a trusted extension of their network.
• Build a strong market presence through networking, relationship management, and proactive business development activity.
• Focus on understanding clients' needs and delivering tailored insurance solutions by leveraging our broad range of products and services.
• Work closely with colleagues across the business to deliver outstanding client outcomes and support long-term growth.
• Attend networking events, industry functions, and partner meetings, using your interpersonal skills to identify and maximise opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong insurer relationships to secure the most appropriate solutions for clients.
• Represent Gallagher professionally within the market, promoting our expertise and reputation at every opportunity.
• Take ownership of your territory, developing a robust pipeline of opportunities and building for future growth.
