Job summary

Blackburn College is seeking a part-time Work Placement Co-ordinator to oversee the 16-19 Early Years placements. You will liaise with employers to create opportunities and support quality assurance across term-time (38 weeks) with 29.6 hours per week at the Blackburn campus.

You will monitor learners on placements, assess T level competencies and early years licenses, and manage visits with admin duties. Requires Level 3+ Early Years, Level 2 literacy/numeracy, and an A1/TAQA or willingness to

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3+ Early Years qualification and Level 2 literacy/numeracy.
• A1/TAQA Assessor qualification or willingness to achieve within 12 months.
• Health and Safety qualification or willingness to achieve within 12 months.
• Strong experience in early years education or child development.
• Ability to organise and implement timetables of visits and admin duties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor work placements across the 16-19 study programme within the Early Years curriculum.
• Liaise with employers to find and develop work placement opportunities and support QA processes.
• Monitor and assess learners on work placements, assessing competencies on T levels and Early Years licenses.
• Organise timetable of visits and handle administrative duties; travel across Lancashire.
