Job summary

Runshaw College in Leyland is seeking a full-time Work Placement Assessor for the Industry & Work Placement visits and assessments across the Early Years Education T Level. You will support 16-19s, prepare evaluations, and coordinate with employers to secure placements.

The ideal candidate will hold Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above and have experience in Early Years or Primary settings, with a proactive approach to safeguarding and student development.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified in the Early Years field at Level 3 or above.
• Experience of working in an Early Years or Primary setting will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for Industry & Work Placement visits and assessments on the Early Years provision for 16-19-year-olds.
• Prepare students for assessments, observe students in practice, and plan and execute professional discussions to meet competency criteria.
• Work with employers, hold employer meetings, and visit classes to engage with students one-to-one.
• Support students through the DBS process and resolve any difficulties; assess progress through structured observations and feedback.
