Job summary

The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) is seeking an experienced Work Placement Officer to assess learners in the workplace and support them in sourcing placements, including risk assessments and DBS checks.

This role is based in Altrincham, 36.25 hours per week, with a minimum L3 Childcare or Early Years qualification and an Assessor qualification. It offers a 15% employer pension contribution and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum L3 Childcare or Early Years qualification.
• Assessor qualification required.
• GCSEs 4+/FS L2 in Maths and English required.

Responsibilities

• Assess learners in the workplace to support completion of their main qualification, including marking.
• Support learners to source placements and liaise with employers.
• Complete risk assessments, health & safety paperwork and online systems.
• Ensure employers are suitable for learners' placements.
• Support learners to complete DBS check.
• Support and prepare learners to successfully complete their placements.
• Participate in quality assurance processes and moderation.
• Assess learners on placement and work with awarding body.
