Job summary

Only FE in Lancashire is seeking a Work Placement Assessor for the Early Years curriculum. The successful candidate will coordinate and monitor work placements, liaising with employers to develop opportunities. Essential qualifications include a Level 3 Early Years Qualification and appropriate assessor qualifications.

The role also requires strong early years education experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Access to a vehicle is necessary as the role involves travel across Lancashire.

Qualifications

Work Placement Assessor Early Years

£25,929 to £30,842 gross per annum

The Role

You will be required to coordinate and monitor work placements across the 16-19 study programme within the Early Years curriculum. You will liaise with employers to find and develop work placement opportunities and support the quality assurance processes. You will monitor and assess learners on work placement, assessing competencies on T levels and other Early Years license to practice qualifications.

What are we looking for

You must have a Level 3 or above Early Years Qualification and a minimum of level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy. You should also have a A1/TAQA Assessor Qualification or equivalent or be willing to achieve within one year. In addition, you will have relevant Health and Safety Qualification or be willing to achieve within 1 year. You have strong experience in early years education or child development and align with the national standards. You must have the ability to organise and implement a timetable of visits and administrative duties and be adept at using Microsoft Office/Outlook. You should also have access to a vehicle and ability/willingness to drive to appointments anywhere in Lancashire
