Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is supporting nurseries in Torquay to recruit an Early Years Assistant who can bring energy, enthusiasm and a caring approach to every room.

You will help young children build confidence and new skills through play, working across different age groups in welcoming nursery settings. Level 2/3 EY qualifications and experience preferred; Paediatric First Aid desirable.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Experience working with children within an Early Years or nursery setting.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable but not essential.
• The ability to work flexibly across different Early Years rooms and age groups.
• A caring and empathetic approach.
• A flexible and adaptable attitude.

Salary: £14-£16 per hour

The successful Early Years Assistant will work within welcoming nursery environments, helping to create a safe, positive and engaging setting where children can learn, play and develop.

The successful Early Years Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience working with children within an Early Years or nursery setting
• Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable but not essential
• The ability to work flexibly across different Early Years rooms and age groups
• A caring and empathetic approach
• A flexible and adaptable attitude
