Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a welcoming nursery in Torquay to recruit a Nursery Practitioner. The role focuses on supporting children across the Early Years, with emphasis on learning, development and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will hold Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years, have EYFS knowledge and a caring, enthusiastic approach. Paediatric First Aid is advantageous, and flexibility to work across ages is valued.

Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

Salary: £14 - £16 per hour

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years
• Experience working with children within an Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Paediatric First Aid qualification would be advantageous
• A caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting children
• Flexibility and a willingness to work across different age groups
