Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a Torquay nursery to recruit a qualified Nursery Practitioner for a part-time role. You will support children across the Early Years range, helping their learning and wellbeing in a safe, engaging setting.

The ideal candidate holds Level 2/3 in Childcare/EYFS and can work across age groups. Paediatric First Aid is a plus. Salary is £14-£16 per hour.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years
• Experience in an Early Years setting supporting children
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Paediatric First Aid is a nice-to-have

Responsibilities

• Support children across the Early Years age range.
• Assist-led activities and learning through EYFS principles.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a nursery in Torquay who are looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner. The setting provides a welcoming environment for children across the Early Years age range, with a focus on supporting their learning, development and wellbeing.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years
• Experience working with children within an Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Paediatric First Aid qualification would be advantageous
• A caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting children
• Adaptability and a willingness to work across different age groups
