Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant in Exeter to support children across age rooms and assist with daily routines. You will create a caring, engaging environment and build strong relationships with young learners.

Ideally you hold Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualifications and have experience in an early years setting. The role involves flexible, adaptable work and is paid on a PAYE basis with market-rate pay.

Job Title: Nursery Assistant

Location: Exeter

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £14.25 - £16.00 per hour

Are you a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistant who can confidently adapt to different age rooms?

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification / QTS
• Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting
• Confidence working across different age rooms
• A caring and positive temperament
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• A willingness to support with general day-to-day nursery duties
