Job summary

Refresh Recruitment Limited is seeking a Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3) for a bright nursery in Crews Hole, Bristol. The role offers 40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days, Monday to Friday, in a warm, inclusive setting that supports young children's early learning.

You will plan engaging activities, monitor development, and apply EYFS principles to help children thrive. Level 2/3 in Childcare/EY is required; DBS will be processed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
• Experience in a nursery or early years setting is desirable.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.
• Observe, assess, and monitor children's development and progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Support the day-to-day operation of the nursery and maintain high standards of care.
• Follow and implement the EYFS framework.
• Lead by example and demonstrate best practice in early years education.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support children's learning and development.
• Contribute ideas and initiatives to enhance the nursery environment and children's experiences.
