Job summary

Refresh Recruitment Limited is seeking a Nursery Practitioner in Brislington, Bristol. The role requires 40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days, with a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.

You will support learning through play, ensure a safe and inclusive environment, and work under the EYFS framework to promote children's development. The ideal candidate will have nursery experience, strong communication, teamwork, and a passion for early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years or equivalent.
• Experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Understanding of child development and EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities promoting learning through play.
• Create a safe, inclusive, nurturing environment for all children.
• Observe, assess and monitor children's development and progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
• Support day-to-day nursery operations and maintain high standards of care.
• Follow and implement the EYFS framework.
• Lead by example and demonstrate best practice in early years education.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support children's learning and development.
• Contribute ideas to enhance the nursery environment and children's experiences.
