Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting for Nursery Practitioners in Central Birmingham. This role involves providing high-quality care, education and support to children aged 0-5, working as part of a team to ensure a safe, nurturing environment and helping children reach their full potential.

We welcome Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications in Early Years/Childcare, with paediatric first aid desirable. Flexible shifts and opportunities across multiple nursery settings are available, with ongoing support from

Qualifications

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare is essential.
Paediatric First Aid is desirable.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and excellent communication with children.

Responsibilities

Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 in line with the EYFS framework.
Provide high-quality care and support to children in a safe and nurturing environment.
Create engaging, stimulating and age-appropriate learning experiences.
Plan and participate in activities that support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
Recognise and respond to each child's individual needs, interests and stage of development.
Encourage children's confidence, independence, communication and social skills.
Assist with planning and delivering activities that promote learning and development.
Build positive and professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents and carers.
Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of all children.
