Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is hiring an Early Years Lead to inspire and nurture our youngest learners at Willow Grove Preschool, Willow Grove Primary School. You will plan, lead, and deliver creative activities while ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing in a safe, playful environment.

With a Level 3 Early Years qualification, you’ll support children’s development, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to a caring team during term-time, with some extra hours possible in

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years is essential.

• Experience delivering planned activities for under-fives is desirable.
•  

Responsibilities

• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our youngest children.
•  
• Plan, lead, and deliver fun, structured activities like storytelling, arts, and outdoor play.
•  
• Support children's development and wellbeing through age-appropriate experiences.
•  
• Uphold safeguarding and Health & Safety policies at all times.
•  
• Provide snacks and support toilet/hygiene routines.
•  
• Build positive relationships with parents, schools, and your team.
•  
• Promote early years best practice and a love of learning through play.
