Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is hiring an Early Years Lead in London. The role is term-time, 15 hours per week, with a split shift from 3pm to 6pm, at The Vicarage, Ramsden Rd, London. Pay is up to £15 per hour, with extra hours during school holidays. Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.

The position involves planning engaging activities, safeguarding, and supporting very young learners in a safe, playful environment. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Qualification in Early Years – Essential.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Experience with early years settings is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our youngest children.
• Plan, lead and deliver structured activities including storytelling and play.
• Support development and wellbeing with age-appropriate experiences.
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety policies at all times.
• Assist with snacks, toileting and hygiene routines.
• Prepare spaces and adapt environments for activities.
• Build positive relationships with parents, schools and team.
• Promote early years best practice and love for learning.
