Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) seeks an Early Years Lead at Barnes Primary School, Richmond Upon Thames. This part-time role focuses on planning and delivering creative activities for our youngest learners in a safe, nurturing environment.

With a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years, you’ll lead structured activities, support child development and wellbeing, and uphold safeguarding standards. The position is split-shift, term-time only, with pay up to £14 per hour.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Qualification in Early Years – Essential.
• Experience with young children in a learning environment is desirable.
• Ability to plan and lead age-appropriate activities.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our youngest children.
• Plan, lead, and deliver structured activities such as storytelling and outdoor play.
• Support children's development and wellbeing through engaging activities.
• Model safeguarding and follow Health & Safety policies.
• Build positive relationships with parents and schools.
• Promote best practice in early years through play.
