Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is hiring an Early Years Lead to inspire and nurture our youngest learners at Willow Grove Preschool, Willow Grove Primary School. You will plan, lead, and deliver creative activities while ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing in a safe, playful environment.

With a Level 3 Early Years qualification, you’ll support children’s development, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to a caring team during term-time, with some extra hours possible in

You’ll plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities, ensure children’s wellbeing, and inspire curiosity every single day at our Preschool based in Willow Grove Primary school.

Location: Willow Grove Preschool (based in Willow Grove Primary School)
Hours:35-40hrs per week
Pay:£14ph
Contract:Permanent term time only, with possibility of additional hours in our holiday clubs.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our youngest children.
• Plan, lead, and deliver fun, structured activities like storytelling, creative arts, sensory play, group games, and outdoor adventures.
• Support children’s development and wellbeing through engaging, age-appropriate experiences.
• Be a role model of excellent safeguarding and follow Health & Safety policies at all times.
• Provide healthy snacks, support toileting and hygiene routines, and ensure every child feels safe, cared for, and included.
• Set up and tidy play spaces, adapting environments to meet the needs of different activities.
• Build positive relationships with parents, schools, and your team.
• Promote early years best practice and nurture a love for learning through play.
• Uphold confidentiality and high standards of child protection.
