Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is recruiting an Early Years Lead at Biggleswade Academy to inspire and care for our youngest learners. This full-time split-shift role offers 22.5 hours per week across mornings and afternoons, with a pay rate of £14.00 per hour and a 52-week contract.

Level 3 Qualification in Early Years – Essential is required to plan safe, playful activities that support wellbeing and development.

• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our youngest children.
• Plan, lead, and deliver structured activities like storytelling, creative arts, sensory play, group games, and outdoor adventures.
• Support children’s development and wellbeing through engaging experiences.
• Be a role model of safeguarding and follow Health & Safety policies at all times.
• Provide healthy snacks, support toileting and hygiene routines, and ensure every child feels safe and included.
• Set up and tidy play spaces, adapting environments to meet activity needs.
• Build positive relationships with parents, schools, and your team.
• Promote early years best practice and nurture a love for learning through play.
• Uphold confidentiality and high standards of child protection.
