Job summary

Storal’s Ashby Nursery School in Ashby-de-la-Zouch is seeking a Full Time Early Years Practitioner. You’ll plan activities, observe progress and provide personal care for children within the EYFS framework.

Join a warm, nurturing team delivering learning through play while building strong relationships with children and families, with a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• A full and relevant Early Years qualification at Level 2/3.
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children.
• Apply the Storal curriculum and pedagogy principles daily.
• Seek learning opportunities in routines such as mealtimes and transitions, and bond with children and families.

Hours: Full Time, 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £13.30 per hour dependant on experience and qualifications

How You’ll Spend Your Time Here

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.

You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

• A full and relevant Early Years qualification at Level 2/3
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
