Job summary

Storal Bilborough Nursery is seeking a dedicated Nursery practitioner to support play-based learning and ensure children’s safety and development in Bilborough, Nottingham. You will plan activities, observe progress, and care for young children across the day.

Join a passionate team that delivers a nurturing environment and the Storal pedagogy, emphasising confidence, independence and readiness for school through play. 40 hours weekly, £13.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• An Early Years qualification at Level 3
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Apply the Storal curriculum & pedagogy daily.
• Seek learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes and transitions. Bond with children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.
• Deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning moment.

How you’ll spend your time here

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.
You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.
