Job summary

The Lindens Nursery School in Sutton-in-Ashfield is seeking a dedicated Early Years practitioner to plan activities, observe progress and provide personal care for children. You will apply the Storal curriculum daily and support learning through play-based activities.

We value experience across age groups in Early Years, with an understanding of EYFS; qualifications at Level 2+ are required and supportive professional development is on offer.

Qualifications

• An Early Years qualification at Level 2 or above.
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children.
• Apply the Storal curriculum and our pedagogy principles daily.
• Engage in routines such as mealtimes and transitions, bonding with children and families.
• Deliver high levels of care and empathy for every child.

Skills

Experience in Early Years settings

How you’ll spend your time here

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.
You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

• An Early Years qualification at Level 2 or above
